1. Information We Collect

We collect nothing

Lumira is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect any personal information, including but not limited to:

• Name, email address, or contact details
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Photos, files, or media
• Health or biometric data

2. Data Stored Locally

Lumira stores the following data locally on your device only using Android DataStore:

• Session history (number of sessions, total minutes)
• Streak data (current and longest streak)
• Filter preferences (intensity, temperature)
• Onboarding completion status
• Pro purchase status

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data.

3. Third-Party Services

Google Play Billing

Lumira uses Google Play Billing for the optional Pro upgrade purchase. This transaction is handled entirely by Google. We do not have access to your payment information. Google's privacy policy governs this data: policies.google.com/privacy

No Analytics, No Ads

Lumira does not include any analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar), advertising networks, or tracking technologies.

4. Permissions

Lumira requests the following Android permissions:

• Display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) — Required to apply the red light filter overlay on top of other applications.
• Foreground service — Required to keep the filter active while using other apps.
• Notifications — Required to show a notification while the filter service is running (Android requirement).
• Billing — Required for the optional Pro purchase through Google Play.

No permission is used to collect or transmit personal data.

5. Children's Privacy

Lumira is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. The app includes a recommendation for parental supervision for users under 16.

6. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device and no data is transmitted externally, the security of your data depends on the security of your device. We recommend using a screen lock and keeping your device software up to date.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
